The scenery in the movie is very beautiful. I love the mountains where Heidi and her grandfather live. The scenery makes me want to go there because it reminds me of the Swiss Alps.
Heidi is such a sweet innocent girl that is full of life and love not only for her grandfather but for others around her as well. I enjoyed the scene when someone from a church in town delivered kittens to Heidi at her new home with Clara. The new kittens along with Heidi created a lot of excitement in the house that obviously no one had seen or experienced in quite awhile. Heidi sure had a way of making everyone love her. She sure enjoyed the simple things in life such as home, friends and family on the mountain side instead of a more formal lifestyle in town. She truly missed the mountains and her grandfather.
Sometimes, I joke with friends that I could be related to Heidi since I really love a very good cheese and fresh hot bread right out of the oven. Just thinking about it makes me want some. I would highly recommend watching this movie with your family.
